1. Do the people building my pool know what they are doing?

The team at C.L Pools are very experienced, Carl Linklater started in 1972 in Melbourne then moved to Brisbane 16 years ago where he worked for some of the largest Queensland builders, before starting his own company approximately 12 years ago.Daniel Linklater our Construction Supervisor started in pool building 7 years ago as a supervisor and has very extensive knowledge of the industry. And has since taken over from Carl. Also, a lot of our work is not subcontracted out as it is with most pool companies. We try to use our own staff as much as possible, thereby ensuring good quality control.

2. Will I get a good job?

Yes, we have built many hundreds of pools over the years. In your information folder you will find a booklet with names and addresses of past customers for you to talk to, thereby you can be assured that we have the ability & experience to give you the results you want.

3 What happens if I have a problem with the pool?

In the unlikely case we have a problem, it’s good to know we have the systems and staff in place to attend to it quickly, we will assess the problem within 48 hours. If it’s minor we will fix it straight away or if it’s a concern with equipment we will call the supplier and we will follow it through till they fix it.

4 Does C.L Pools use a progress payment system?

Yes, we use the payment system as prescribed by S.P.A.S.A, which is 5% deposit, 30% on steel delivery, 45% on concrete, 15% on equipment installation & 5% on filling and practical completion.

5. Does C.L Pools have insurance and are they licensed by BSA?

Yes, we have $10,000.000 public liability insurance and have all appropriate Q.M.B.A licences.

6. Can I fill my pool before it is fenced?

No, under new Queensland law, your pool fence must be in place and passed by council inspectors before the water goes in.

7. Does C.L Pools use all subcontract labour?

No, we use some subcontracts, but we try to use our own staff as much as possible.

8. Are the pumps, filters & salt chlorinators correctly matched to
the size of my pool?

Yes, standard equipment is matched to the size of your pool and our high performance upgrade equipment is superior to ‘industry standard’ requirements.

9. Does C.L Pools install qood quality equipment in their pools?

Yes, we provide top quality equipment in our basic pool price with the option to upgrade to “World Class” with our high performance upgrade if you so desire.

10. What warranties does C.L Pools provide?

We have a ten year structural warranty on the pool shell.
